Abstract: It is well known that Chinese character is a kind of pictograph,the metonymy is used frequently。 In the campus,the classmates have a poetic alternative name——"tong chuang", which means the school fellows read together in one classroom and in front of the same window. The poetic naming method was full of the deep longing for the emotional friendship, and the relevance with the common time,plus a common space。However,with the technological progress,the machine became the new guests in the university.
Perhaps today's discussion about education is an appropriate opportunity to put aside the most popular algorithm for the time being and rethink Relevance Principle in the Art Education.With the convenience of using technology,establish the practical relationship between people and "unlimited” is the main aim in the higher education. Let's start building bridges to connect individuals with the coming Metaverse。On the one hand,Ensure that the learners have enough enlightenment, which could be summarized as "Position/community" consciousness, individual self enlightenment and environmental awareness;on the other hand,explore Metaverse consciousness, and make us have real creativity to describe and express the concept of "infinity" beyond the conditions of time and space.
In short,the Relevance Principle is mainly shown in two aspects. 1,The content learned is related to the reality of the technological society. 2,Skills learning has undergone digital transformation. Jacques Ellul(1921~1994) French philosopher, wrote the book Technological society in 1954. He thought that “technology is the primary; anybody can not dominate and control technology which is autonomy”. in the education he suggested to teach the students how to see the reality of society, instead of looking only into books.For me, the digital transformation in education also includes myself, a practitioner who has spent more than 20 years in the teaching profession。 The learner and the teacher are closely related again to face the changeable reality in the technological society and learn new digital skills together.
